Matthew graduated in 2025 from a combined degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and Law at the University of New South Wales, and is currently undertaking an Honours project in the discipline of Politics and International Relations at same institution.

His background in sports administration has equipped him with an understanding of real-world commercial practice that support his ability to assist the Mitry Emerson Lewis team in delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
